J-Dag
Denmark is a country of beer. Everyone loves it around here. Tuborg and Carlsberg are probably the most known danish beers around the world, but they still have plenty more. And just to show how these people are crazy by beer, they make new beers all the time. Comparing, it's like us making tradicional portuguese food along the year. This last week was a very good example of that. The difference started in the calendar: Mandag, Tirsdag, Onsdag, Torsdag and J-Dag. J-Dag stands for Julebryg-dag. Known in the non-danish-speaker commune by Christmas Beer Day. Tuborg presented the beer that Danes should drink until (or in) Christmas. Just like they do in Easter. Of course that, when such day comes all the nation get together and make justice to fame. They all get drunk! It's like becoming millionaire. And because this 2 events only happen once per year, they have to improvise. So, on non-holiday times they just make a new beer to be judged by all people. A beer is in stores for 6 months and then, if it was well accepted it will stay longer. If not, a new one takes the chance.
Being a beer is not a easy task up here. And even worst somebody that likes beer.
By the way, it's fuckin' cold outside...
